1. Happiness Fuels More Ideas, More Ideas Fuel Happiness

Yes, it’s another chicken and egg thing: Harvard psychologist Moshe  Bar suggests that happier people tend to come up with more ideas,  and, conversely, if you want to get happier, try coming up with more ideas. Thinking about positive future outcomes,  making unusual associations (which happens when you brainstorm or tap into our sense of humor),  doing something slightly out of your comfort zone, or speed reading have all been proven to boost your mood when you are feeling a little down.

It’s a Wacky, Wacky World

A man recently charged with running naked through a Tennessee supermarket at least had a great excuse for his stunt. He was bored! Ah yes…just like Mom used to say, “Idle hands leads to running naked through stores!”
