1. Don’t Forget to Ho Ho Ho

For many folks the holiday season is the biggest
source of stress in their entire year – so please practice
the 3 R’s this season, after all there’s a fine line
between finding your ha ha’s and sharing some ho ho’s.

So don’t forget to REWARD yourself, REFRAME your stressors
(“it could always be worse. . .”) and RELAX by slowing
down and giving yourself an extra helping of humor.

2. Mike’s Fun at Work Tip

Since the year is rapidly drawing to an end, hold a
contest to see which team can perform the funniest “Year
in Review” skit, highlighting your workplace’s
accomplishments and bloopers—this makes a great contest
for those year-end parties. Or, have a contest for the
funniest “Top Ten Highlights of the Year” list.

3. Deep Thought of the Week

What’s the perfect gift for the person who has everything?
A burglar alarm!

4. It’s a Wacky, Wacky World

German engineer Matthias Knigge has invented an office
desk with a rather unique feature. Push a button on the
side of the desk and presto: a panel slides open and a
large, orange pillow inflates, allowing you to lay your
sleepy head down on your desk and catch a few winks after
those heavy lunches.

Happy Hump day one and all!
