1. We Interrupt This Hump Day For an Important Announcement!

Now did you happen to notice that it’s our 200th issue! Wow, time
flies when you’re writing about having fun! And speaking of having
fun, it’s time for our annual stay-cation, so the Hump Day Humor
Gram will be signing off the air for a few weeks. We will
return on January 17th with our new scratch-n-sniff, 3-D version.

In the meantime, all the best for the holiday season,
and my best wishes for a happy, laughter-filled, humor-filled,
wildly successful, crazily creative and inspiring 2007!
2. Mike’s Fun at Work Tip

Yes, it’s that time of the year to decide what kind of
workplace you want to work in 2007. So plan now for a team
meeting in early January to set your goals for FUN during 2007
and to talk about how to create a more inspiring workplace.

Maybe your first goal will be to establish a Fun at Work
Team to lead the fun charge, or perhaps you’ll set aside four
dates throughout the year for fun social activities. The key
is to commit to something that will not only raise the level
of fun at work, but will also keep the importance of having fun
front and center on the old radar screen.
3. Quote of the Week

As the year rapidly draws to a close, here’s a final thought
to ponder:
“Most New Year’s resolutions go in one year and out the other!”
4. It’s a Wacky, Wacky World

Who says the Grinch doesn’t really exist? Police in Rock Hill,
South Caroline arrested a 12 year-old boy after his own mother
called the police to turn him in for opening his Christmas
presents too early!

On a happier note, the I.R.S. is sending out Christmas cards
with this simple greeting: Many Happy Returns!

Happy Hump Day and Happy Holidays one and all!
