3. Deep Thought of the Week
4. It’s a Wacky, Wacky World
1. Tales From Work.Com

When you get a moment, check out a new website: dedicated to collecting amusing or
downright wacky stories that take place at work. Or better yet,
contribute your own funny tale. The site is still in its infancy,
but I’m sure once enough tales have been amassed it will become a
huge hit with all those hump dayers seeking a little levity.
2. Mike’s Fun at Work Tip

Don’t forget to go green next Monday the 17th for St. Patrick’s
Day! And when I say “Go Green!” I’m not just talking about your
underwear or tie. I mean “Go Green or Go Home!”

Print out your invoices, bills, receipts, memos or meeting
agendas on green paper, add green dye to your coffee, write with a green
pen, dye your hair green, dye your boss’s hair green, bring your
iguana to work (there really should be an official “Bring Your Iguana to
Work” Day), have an “all-you-can-eat-celery buffet, wear green Vulcan
ears, paint your clown nose green, paint your office green, sod your
office wall-to-wall, or go golfing for the day (for those of you
fortunate enough to be able to find grass).

And failing that, if you want to stand out from the herd a tad,
send a Happy St. Patrick’s Day card to your clients there’s
very little chance it will get lost amongst the other cards!
3. Quote of the Week

“Mark my words, when a society has to resort to the lavatory
for its humor, the writing is on the wall.” Allan Bennet

4. It’s a Wacky, Wacky World

According to a survey by, you can tell a lot about
a person by the shoes they keep. 68% of the women surveyed
suggested that shoes make a difference in how they assessed men
(Hint: owning more than 10 pairs or less than 3 pairs could
be a problem), while 81% of the men said that they’d be
suspicious of a woman who kept her shoes in a line outside of her wardrobe
