1. Top Five Reasons To Create Top Ten Lists

Top ten lists are the ideal way to communicate information in
a friendly and fun format. And you can use them for anything…
“The Top Ten Reasons to Buy Our Product”, “The Top Ten Reasons
to Attend Our Next Meeting” or “The Top Ten Reasons We’ll Miss
Bob the Photocopy Repair Guy.”

In fact, here’s the top five reasons why top ten lists work

5. People are used to the format.
4. They are an effective format for summarizing key points.
3. People love lists.
2. They are a simple way of adding humor to any message.
1. If you feel lazy (like me) you can just do a top five list.

Happy Hump Day. May the farce, as always, be with you.
2. Mike’s Fun at Work Tip

Develop your own customized, work-related punch lines to
common joke set ups. For example:

How many [INSERT YOUR PROFESSION HERE] does it take to change a
light bulb?

Why did the [INSERT PROFESSION HERE] cross the road?

If anyone has any good ideas from their work world, please pass
them along!

4. Quote of the Week

“Do not take life too seriously
you will never get out of it alive.”
Albert Hubbard
5. It’s a Wacky, Wacky World

More and more folks are listing “Jedi” (those laser-wielding
rebels from “Star Wars”) as their primary religion.

In Britain, 390,000 Brits listed Jedi as their religion in the
last census, while here in Canada several thousand Jedis also
showed up in the latest census data.

It’s only a matter of time then, before they’ll have to register
their Light Sabres as a weapon . . .
