1. Oldest Work Finally Retires!

Having trouble making it to the end of the week? Dreaming
of a chance at a second or third or seventh career?
Then consider this: Ray Crist, known as “the oldest worker
in the world” is finally hanging up his hat at age 104!
Ray is an inspiration for those of you thinking of second
or fourth careers late in life, having started his
job as a college professor at age 70! Just goes to show you
really can teach an old dog some new tricks.
2. Website recommendation

Surf on over to for a gander at the
Corporate Training Monthly website, where this month’s issue
focuses on wellness and life balance and features many
great articles, including one by yours truly.
3. Mike’s Fun at Work

July is official Hot Dog, Ice Cream, Picnic and Anti-Boredom
Month, so why not combine all four and hold an
ice cream and hotdog picnic for staff to keep them
from getting bored!!
4. Quote of the Week

“Humor, while so often a tonic, can be a poison to those
unprepared to take it.” Robert Barone, Everybody Loves Raymond
5. It’s a Wacky, Wacky World

Psychology professors at McMaster University have proven that looking
at beautiful women makes men stupid. Their findings, based
on elaborate experiments involving photographs and gambling with dice,
seemed to indicate that we males just stop thinking clearly at the
site of a beautiful woman, whereas women have no problem thinking
clearly after looking at photos of good looking males. Sadly,
this explains a lot about the world. Happy hump day!
