I can’t believe I was asked the question – “Isn’t it my bosses job to make me happy?” And it wasn’t the first time! How can anyone over the age of 12 think that someone else should be responsible for their own happiness or motivation on the job?

Of course, your boss has a HUGE impact on the quality of your work life and on the workplace culture you inhabit. But why on earth…or any planet for that matter…would you outsource your attitude, your happiness and your motivation to anyone else?
